Kay Sibal would use the following words to describe herself: sensitive, passionate, and colorful. Growing up in the San Francisco East Bay Area, she spent thirteen years of her life in a children’s choir, learning music theory, traveling the world on summer tours, and falling in love with group harmonies. Nothing makes her happier than the privilege to provide art to others, whether it be piano accompaniment for her fellow singers, arranging a mash-up for her peers’ cabaret show, or playing Beatles songs with her brothers at Christmas. As a first generation Filipino-American woman, her identity means more and more to her every day. Kay believes in theater with a purpose: to provide catharsis, awakening, and healing among BIPOC and underrepresented communities. In her free time, she enjoys long talks with friends, long talks with her journal, and long talks with herself.
Kay is a proud alum of UCLA's School of Theater, Film, and Television's Class of 2022. She is represented by Circle of Confusion Management. |
